Healthcare Assistant

We care currently recuiting compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Old Hastings House.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide high quality, person-centred care and support to our residents
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities
  • Encourage independence, dignity and respect
  • Record and report changes in residents' wellbeing
  • Support residents to maintain their comfort and wellbeing
  • Work as part of a caring, supportive and professional team

What we're looking for:

  • A kind, caring and empathetic nature
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills
  • Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
  • Previous care experience desirable but not essential
  • A commitment to providing the highest standard of care

We are currently recruiting caring and experienced Care Team Leaders to join our dedicated team at Old Hostings House.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, support and inspire our care teams
  • Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care
  • Promote dignity, respect and independence
  • Provide effective supervision to the care team
  • Support training and team development

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a care team leader role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A passion for providing outsanding care
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (or working towards)

Previous experience in a similar role is essential
